About Lefkos Karpathos

The picturesque seaside fishing village of Lefkos, located 35 km northwest from Pigadia.

Lefkos (Kato Lefkos) is the ideal combination of beauty and hospitality. The small village is well known from its idyllic bays with emerald waters. Lefkos has faced a strong growth and has become popular tourist destination in the region. The village actually consists of two settlements, Lefkos and Kato Lefkos, the former is located a few kilometers away. If you visit Lefkos, you can find some smaller hotels, family taverns, bars, super markets, car rental agencies. In the summer months many people come here to enjoy the magnificient beaches in the area. Lefkos is a popular destination, but also a quiet village – there isn’t significant nightlife here.

Near Lefkos there is a small islet, called Sokastro – with some ruins from the byzantine and medieval periods. You will certainly love Lefkos, exploring the area, the archaeological sites, riding a bicycle, and spending the days and nights by the turquoise coloured sea!

Beaches of Lefkos

Lefkos is a small fishing village, in the shade of the highest mountain of Karpathos, located 35km northwest of Pigadia. There are several varied beaches, with turquoise waters, fine sand and shallow seabed, which are especially ideal for families. Most of the beaches are well organized, with parasols, sunbeds, beach bars and tavernas.
